Compatibility Fix for X-Wing Collectors' Series

6/24/2013 10:43:32 PM

It took some time, granted, but I finally found time to retrieve and upload the unofficial 3D patch for X-Wing 95/TIE Fighter 95 by Cwagle The Jedi. Look here: Files/XCS_Unofficial_Patch.zip
Looks like http://www.lucasfiles.com/ won't come back again :-(

Dreamfall Chapters Adventure Game

3/3/2013 1:28:24 PM

Hi guys, I'm also an old-school adventure games fan so please head over to http://redthreadgames.com/ in order to support Ragnar Tornqvist's Kickstarter campaign for a sequel to a great game series :-)

Thank you.

A careful announcement

1/18/2011 10:42:28 PM

Just to let you know, many people asked about an installer for The Phantom Menace. My personal schedule has tightened through the last years but I'm in contact with an eager person from the UK who volunteered to do some pioneer work regarding Phantom Menace.

The negative point is that Phantom Menace seems to be in "complicated company" with Balance of Power; both have their install files in some weird old InstallShield 3 format. This makes creating source-target-lists very cumbersome.

Positive point is that there is a glimpse of hope for a TPM installer in the near future :-)

Windows Installer 3.1 and newer OS

1/18/2011 10:39:14 PM

This is just a clarification. Some people asked me about Windows Installer 3.1 and what they should do as they can't install in on, let's say Vista x64 or Windows 7 x64. Point is, Vista has Windows Installer 4.0 and Windows 7 has Windows Installer 4.5 integrated. So no need to worry about this. You will, however, still need the particular Visual C++ runtime as noted in the instructions.

Indiana Jones 3D Saved Games

1/18/2011 10:31:43 PM

Hi guys! Thanks to Eric Margolis, MD I am able to offer his read-mes and saves which will help bypassing any bugs in the game and completing it. Therefore I've created a separate page for Infernal Machine alone.

What is more, I also restructured the website a little bit - now shortcut links/URls to, let's say, http://www.markusegger.at/software/games will work, too.
